The Association of Suffolk County Historical Societies provides a medium for communication among its members to exchange ideas and experiences for the purposes of mutual assistance and to develop cooperation for the solution of common problems. ASCHS conducts workshops to formulate programs for use by the members and to acquaint them with the historic features of the various sections of the county.
